Claire McCracken

Claire is the regional office head of our Glasgow office and a partner in Weightmans’ corporate team, leading our corporate offering in Scotland. Qualified in Scotland and England & Wales, Claire has over 20 years' experience of acting for companies and organisations ranging from owner-managed businesses to PLCs. She is sector lead for Owner Managed Business in Scotland. Claire advises on all aspects of corporate law, including mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts/buy-ins, joint ventures, investments and all types of commercial contracts. She adopts a commercial and pragmatic approach to assist clients navigate the complexities of corporate transactions. Claire advises clients in a wide range of sectors but has particular expertise in the dental, pharmacy and audiology sectors. A keen runner she also advises clients on sports law, having acted for a number of sports governing bodies, clubs, and athletes. · Weightmans LLP
