Lucy Phipps

Lucy is a Solicitor and Partner in our family law team based in our Leeds office and is Sector Lead for individual services across Leeds and Newcastle. Lucy represents clients both locally and across England & Wales, often appearing in Courts in London, the Midlands and the North East. Lucy adopts a firm approach to her cases to ensure her client’s get fair results. Her work in financial settlements involves complex corporate and business structures, property and land holdings (including farm and agricultural estates), pension and trust assets. Often working with other professionals such as forensic accounts and business valuers, Lucy has a deep understanding of complex financial arrangements and how best to structure settlement to take fair account Lucy has a particular interest in cases which involve allegations of parental alienation and representing parents where permission is being sought from the court to remove children from the jurisdiction of England & Wales. In 2024, Lucy was elected as Chair of the North & West Yorkshire regional Resolution Committee. Resolution is a community of family justice professionals who work with families to resolve issues in a constructive way.
