Richard Ellis

Richard heads up our Family law team which is independently recognised as a Tier 1 practice in the South West in independent legal directory, The Legal 500 UK. Richard trained at RWK Goodman and became a partner in 2000 where he has always specialised in family law. He has a particular interest in cases where mental health and learning disabilities are an issue and has often been appointed by the Official Solicitor to represent vulnerable parties. His child protection work includes representing children, guardians, parents and other individuals involved in care proceedings. He has considerable advocacy experience in Magistrates, County and higher courts and has been involved in a number of reported cases.
