
Rachel Giles
Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 2015, having trained with the firm, and is now an Associate in the Family team. Rachel advises clients in a variety of matters relating to relationships. This regularly includes divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial proceedings and private children matters. Rachel also advises on pre- and post- nuptial agreements, cohabitee matters and domestic violence matters. Rachel has experience in dealing with matters through Court proceedings, and also assists clients in resolving matters through alternative dispute resolution where appropriate, including negotiation and advising clients attending mediation. Rachel is an active member of Resolution and Hampshire YResolution, and approaches matters with a constructive and non-confrontational attitude, to work towards the best outcome for families and children. Rachel is a mediator, having trained in 2022. She works with couples and families to assist with communication following the end of a relationship, covering all of the issues that may result from this. Rachel helps clients from all backgrounds, and in varying stages in their lives.
