Sarah Walker-Smith is Chief Executive of Shakespeare Martineau LLP and the first female, non-lawyer CEO in the legal top 50. A trained accountant who worked at PwC, Deloitte and Boots plc, she focuses on people-centred leadership, marketing and branding and champions levelling the playing field in the legal sector; she is a governor at Nottingham Trent University, a member of the Society of Leadership Fellows at St George’s House and serves on the board of the West Midlands CBI Council, and outside work she enjoys writing, directing and performing in musical theatre productions.
