Mona is currently acting in the Lantian Gerui (Bluesky) Proceeds of Crime Act recovery proceedings for a large group of Chinese investment fraud victims claiming a share of Bitcoin worth several billion dollars. Before qualifying as a solicitor, Mona worked at a securities firm in Canada where she specialised in private funds and options investments. This background in banking and finance, coupled with her commercial acumen, enables her to provide strategic, pragmatic, and commercially focused advice to institutional investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Bilingual in Mandarin and English, Mona plays a key role in navigating complex cross-border disputes involving Chinese parties or assets.
