Michael's practice covers a broad range of both domestic and offshore private client matters including tax and estate planning, wills, trusts and estate administration. Much of his domestic practice relates to the landed estate sector, advising trustees and beneficiaries of complex and dynastic UK trusts in relation to tax and succession planning and trustee compliance. Michael also advises international clients and trustees of offshore structures (including private trust companies), in relation to the ongoing administration of the structures, UK tax advice and in relation to specific projects and restructuring.
