With nearly 20 years' experience in a wide range of commercial and civil litigation, Jennifer regularly appears in the Bermuda Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and has experience in both mediation and arbitration. Her practice spans a broad range of matters, including commercial litigation, shareholder appraisal actions, enforcement and debt recovery, insolvency and restructuring and regulatory matters. Jennifer's insolvency and restructuring experience includes advising on cross-border insolvencies, receiverships, as well as schemes of arrangement. She regularly advises liquidators, receivers and unsecured creditors in relation to both contentious and non-contentious insolvency issues. She also has extensive enforcement and debt recovery experience acting for banks and other corporates as well as providing advice regarding Bermuda's enforcement processes in different contexts, including in large commercial transactions. Jennifer's employment experience covers contentious proceedings before the Employment Tribunal, regulatory-related employment matters such as data protection and privacy and advising on disputes and investigations.
