
Matthew Rhodes
Matthew is an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation team as well as the trusts and private wealth team at Carey Olsen Bermuda Limited. Matthew's practice has a particular focus on commercial, trust, estate and insolvency litigation. In commercial disputes, Matthew assists companies, directors, shareholders, liquidators, administrators and creditors in achieving successful outcomes both in and out of Court. He has particular expertise in applications for interim relief, including injunctions, freezing orders, preservation orders and Anton Piller orders, and in the enforcement of judgments on both a domestic and cross-border basis. In addition, he also has expertise in high-value trust and estate litigation and court approved trust restructurings, often with a multi-jurisdictional element. Matthew represents global businesses, trustees, beneficiaries, settlors and protectors in a wide range of contentious and non-contentious cases before the Bermuda courts.
