Tom Hamer is a partner in Kilburn & Strode’s Patents, Tech Practice Group who splits his time between the London HQ and the San Francisco Liaison Office, advising US-based clients on European patent strategy. He has a first-class MPhys in Physics and specialises in drafting and prosecuting inventions grounded in physics and mathematics, with particular expertise on the EPO’s approach to medical devices, software, video games and AI/ML, and in freedom-to-operate and due diligence work.
