Keith Byblow

Keith's experience encompasses a diverse range of corporate commercial matters. In the area of mergers and acquisitions, he advises across a broad scope of industries. These include the oil and gas and power sectors in the context of domestic transactions, inbound investments by strategics and private equity firms, as well as in the context of insolvencies and restructurings. Keith also has a range of experience with the extraction, processing and sale of natural-gas liquids, carbon capture sequestration and storage, and hydrogen production. In addition, Keith has advised on some of the most significant and strategic transactions. He has also been counsel on the structure of numerous complex and customized joint venture and partnership arrangements. These deals involved facilitating the acquisition, development and financing of and the investment in various infrastructure projects and assets in upstream and midstream oil and gas energy transportation, including pipeline and crude by rail, and natural gas and renewable power generation and transmission. Keith is the Practice Group Leader of the Firm's Corporate Commercial group in Calgary which has particular expertise in the renewable and emerging energy and resource sectors. · Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP
