Nigel Johnston focuses on providing tax advice to the investment funds and asset management industry (domestic and foreign), private equity, the creation of new financial products, the taxation of renewable energy projects and corporate income tax issues. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Canada Tax Service (Carswell), was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1984, and serves on industry committees including PMAC's Industry Regulation and Tax Committee and IFIC's Taxation Working Group; he has previously participated in OECD consultative groups on taxation of collective investment vehicles and cross-border tax claims.
