About
Romain Maulin qualified at the Paris Bar in 2009 and founded Maulin Avocats in 2018 after more than ten years in the competition law departments of Herbert Smith Freehills, Allen & Overy and Dechert. He specialises in competition and antitrust matters — including merger control and representation before the French Competition Authority — teaches competition law at the Paris Bar School and at universities, has published over 30 books and articles, and was named Finance Monthly's Competition Lawyer of the Year in 2021 for his representation of Biocodex.
