Stephan Gruber is an Attorney at Law at CBH Rechtsanwälte who specialises in intellectual property, particularly patent and utility model litigation, and also advises on trademark and competition law; he regularly conducts patent infringement and nullity proceedings across electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry and medical technology. He studied law at Ludwig-Maximilian University Munich and received his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property (1985); he publishes and lectures on patent law, is editor and co-author of a textbook on European and international patent law (7th ed.), and has been recognised by Handelsblatt (2016), Wirtschaftswoche (2017) and Managing Intellectual Property (2018).
