He holds a Dr.-Ing. from ETH Zürich and an LL.M. in European Intellectual Property Law, and is a long-standing lecturer and honorary professor in patent law (TU Berlin), as well as a tutor for the European Patent Academy and CEIPI and a lecturer at ETH Zürich since 2012.
