Peter Raue is a Partner at Raue in Germany, advising on arts and cultural institutions, press law, art and copyright law, media law and restitution matters. An attorney since 1971, he was name‑giving partner of Hogan & Hartson Raue LLP (2000–2010), formed the predecessor Raue law office (later Raue Braeuer Kuhla), has been with Raue since 2010, chairs the James Simon Foundation and is a member of GRUR, the Association of German Jurists and the Study Group for Press Law and Freedom of the Press; he studied at Freie Universität Berlin.
