Partner at Schoenherr’s Sofia office who heads the Banking and Finance department. He has significant expertise on regulatory matters affecting banks and other financial institutions and in transactional work including drafting LMA-style credit facilities governed by Bulgarian law; he also has experience in derivatives and securitisation, having prepared master agreements and collateral documentation for the largest Bulgarian bank and the Bulgarian branch of one of the world’s largest banks. He holds law degrees from Sofia University, the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the University of Oxford and the University of London, and since 2016 has been an assistant professor in private international law at the Institute for Legal Studies of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
