Okan Çan is Senior Partner at Deris Attorneys at Law Partnership in Turkey, representing market-leading companies in the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He advises on IP litigation and strategy, transactional IP, technology licensing, data privacy and publicity rights, and has led the Turkish part of high-profile matters such as the Illumina v. BGI multi-jurisdictional DNA sequencing patent dispute; he participated in preparation of the new Turkish IP Code and chaired an INTA anti-counterfeiting sub-committee (2020–2022).
