Ezra Davids is chairman and senior partner at Bowmans, specialising in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and securities law, and acting as relationship partner for a number of the firm’s major clients. He has advised on large and complex transactions across Africa, chairs the Private Equity Sub-committee of the Corporate and M&A Committee of the International Bar Association, and sits on the Council of the University of Cape Town as well as the boards of the Legal Resources Centre, Freedom Under Law and the Social Justice Initiative.
