Heather Manson is Head of Aviation at Bowmans in Cape Town and an insurance and reinsurance expert who leads the firm's aviation team. Her practice spans some 30 African countries advising airlines, GA operators, airports, ground handlers, MROs and AMOs, OEMs, financiers, lessors and their hull and liability insurers and reinsurers; she handles insurance coverage and product development, has litigated across Africa as well as in France, the USA and the UK, and is a founding member of Aerial Network, GECAS; she holds an LLB (cum laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand.
