Managing Partner - Cape Town at Webber Wentzel since 2014 and member of the firm's Executive Committee, Gavin Fitzmaurice is an experienced maritime and admiralty litigator with extensive experience in casualty investigations, ship arrests, port-related matters, P&I club issues, marine insurance and related commercial and arbitration work. He served as president of the Maritime Law Association of South Africa (August 2018–August 2020) and is an external examiner for the University of Cape Town's Admiralty Law Department.
