Guy Golan

Guy is a partner in the labor law department of Firon Law Firm. Guy Golan interned and practiced as a lawyer and partner, since 2001, in the law firm of Tamar Golan & Co. which merged with our firm in January 2017. Guy has developed extensive expertise and experience in, the all aspects of the field of labor law. He has acquired particular experience in the management of collective bargaining agreements in the public sector requiring his involvement in some of the most significant collective disputes in the Israeli economy. On a day to day basis, Guy provides ongoing consultation regarding individual and collective employment law and has an almost unique familiarity with all the collective bargaining agreements and practices in Israel’s medical sector. It is in this context that he has been involved in many of the most important and precedent-setting proceedings in the sector. Guy has considerable experience in issues relating to the process of terminating the employment of senior managers and employees in both the public and private sectors. In this framework he continues to represent some of Israel’s largest employers in legal proceedings arising from dismissals and which are held in a variety of contexts - labor courts, disciplinary committees and various legal instances including courts of arbitration. Guy is very familiar with the office of the Director of Wages at the Ministry of Finance, and of the interaction required between public/professional entities and the Director.
