Phillipa Muir

Phillipa Muir is Chair of Simpson Grierson and a leading New Zealand employment lawyer who acts for major corporations, tertiary institutions and local government bodies. She has successfully argued several landmark employment cases (including the first major employer damages claim against a union, the first successful stress damages appeal to the Court of Appeal, and the first employment law case before the Supreme Court) and holds directorship and trustee roles.
