Máire Cunningham

Máire is a senior partner in Beauchamps' Corporate, Commercial and M&A team. She has well over 25 years' experience in advising Irish and international clients on corporate transactions of all kinds - mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, MBOs, MBIs, venture capital and private equity investments, listings and multi jurisdiction corporate restructurings. Máire advises on all aspects of venture capital - working with investors and managers on the establishment, investment in and winding up of venture capital funds, as well as advising investors and investees on equity investments. She has worked with a significant number of companies from start-up stage advising on all aspects of business law as they develop and scale including fundraisings, employee incentive arrangements, commercial agreements and corporate transactions. Máire also advises on general partnership law. Máire is chair of the Business Law Committee of the Law Society of Ireland. She is a member of the Company Law Review Group (CLRG). The CLRG is a statutory advisory expert body charged with advising the Minister for Business, Enterprise & Innovation on the review and development of company law in Ireland.
