Sunniva Jacobsen Øyen advises Norwegian and international clients on privacy, employment law, and compliance matters. Her GDPR practice covers implementation and compliance across the financial, research, and marketing sectors, including issues related to control measures, CCTV, email inspections, and personal data processing in whistleblowing cases and investigations. A secondment to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority gives her a practical understanding of how the regulatory authority approaches these issues — a perspective she brings directly to client work. Sunniva also advises on sustainability compliance, including the Transparency Act and adaptation to EU frameworks such as CSRD and CSDDD.
