Mathias Kjærsgaard Larsen

Mathias leads case teams that handle some of the largest and most complex Danish tax disputes for domestic and foreign clients. Mathias is a partner in Plesner's Tax team, which focuses on tax controversy. He has been involved in a wide range of tax matters involving both direct and indirect taxes, ranging from the audit stage through administrative appeals and courts, including the European Court of Justice. Mathias has particular experience working on transfer pricing matters in close collaboration with the clients' in-house tax professionals and day-to-day tax advisors. Mathias holds Bachelor and Master's degrees in Law from Aalborg University and has lectured at Aalborg University and the University of Copenhagen on EU law and tax law, among other subjects. Additionally, Mathias has an LL.M. degree in International Taxation (as a Hauser Global Scholar) from New York University and is admitted to practice in New York. · Plesner
