Michala Roepstorff

Michala is a partner in Plesner's Insolvency Law and Restructuring team. She has vast experience and expertise in handling large-scale restructuring and bankruptcy cases. Michala advises, among others, financial and other creditors as well as managements in the insolvency field. Michala holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen. She is admitted to the High Court of Denmark. Michala is appointed as a permanent trustee by the Maritime and Commercial High Court and is also a member of the board of Kuratorforeningen (the Association of Permanent Trustees). Michala is also a member of the Danish Advisory Council under the Danish Ministry of Justice. Michala is a certified insolvency lawyer and a member of the board of Danske Insolvensadvokater (an association of Danish insolvency lawyers). Further, Michala is a member and the Danish Council of INSOL Europe. Many of the matters in which Michala is involved require a team of other legal specialist, for example Banking and Finance, Corporate Law, M&A, etc., and the team is driven by an understanding of the commercial aspects of the stakeholders involved.
