Toke Rom Engberg

Toke is a director in Plesner's Insolvency Law and Restructuring team, specializing in safeguarding the interests of creditors, investors, and other stakeholders in the bankruptcy, restructuring, sale, and acquisition proceedings of financially distressed businesses. Toke has been involved in a significant number of national and international insolvencies over the years and is particularly experienced in complex and cross-border insolvency and restructuring matters, including special situations and related litigation. Toke is known for his clear, efficient, and effective advice, emphasizing close collaboration with our clients. Toke has a Master’s degree in Law from both New York University School of Law and the University of Southern Denmark. He is a dual-qualified lawyer, admitted to practice in both Denmark and New York. Toke has also held the position of external lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark and has been honored with the "Lecturer of the Year" award twice.
