Thijs Franssen

Thijs Franssen has been with Pels Rijcken since 2016. He specialises in private law in relation to the public sector, with a particular focus on liability and compensation law. Thijs mainly represents the Dutch government and local authorities, including provinces and municipalities. Thijs graduated cum laude from Tilburg University with a master’s degree in Dutch Constitutional and Administrative Law. Prior to joining Pels Rijcken, he practised law at AKD. In addition to his work as a lawyer, Thijs frequently publishes articles, mainly in the Dutch Journal for Administrative Law. He also lectures regularly.
