
Reimer Veldhuis
Reimer Veldhuis frequently acts as State Advocate for the State of the Netherlands in fascinating lawsuits and advises on legal issues that are politically sensitive or sensitive from a policy perspective. Reimer has been State Advocate since 1 September 2018 on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Security. In addition to the State Advocacy, he also represents public law regulatory authorities, provinces and municipalities. Reimer has broad knowledge of civil law, administrative law and criminal law. Representing authorities in various fields has given him an understanding of and sensitivity to political-executive relations. Reimar has special expertise in the area of government liability, administrative supervision and enforcement, as well as the civil aspects of the criminal justice system.
