Senior Lawyer. Myklebust advises on the regulatory and commercial framework on electricity and petroleum, internationally and domestically. He has long experience from Norwegian politics inter alia as adviser in Parliament. Investigations and parliamentary inquiries and hearings are among his areas of expertise. Myklebust is specialized in cross-border energy law and international law, including international investment law (BITs and IIAs) and general trade law. At Arntzen Grette, Myklebust is advising on a range of international energy projects. He has advised extensively governments and companies in emerging markets in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East. Myklebust has also advised participants on the Norwegian Continental Shelf on all aspects of petroleum operations. Myklebust also works on WTO law, EU/EEA law, environmental law, the Energy Charter Treaty, and on compliance and anti-corruption. Myklebust further advises Norwegian and foreign clients on public international law aspects of ongoing cross-border infrastructure projects, including electricity and natural gas interconnectors.
