Joost Houdijk is Counsel at AKD in the firm's EU and Competition team, advising and litigating on cartel arrangements, abuse of dominant positions and merger notifications to the European Commission and the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM). He also specialises in foreign direct investment (FDI) regulation and advises on EU free movement law, EU transportation law and consumer protection, representing enterprises and public authorities before Dutch courts and the European Court of Justice.
