Jens Arnesen is a partner with Nielsen Nørager and provides advice within a variety of commercial aspects mainly focusing on start-up ventures and commercialisation of technology-based entities. In said focus area, Jens advises both entrepreneurs, inventors, universities and seed and venture capital funds, thereby gaining relevant expertise from dealing with a broad scope of capital and shareholder issues. Jens has significant experience in the M&A field and deals with all types of commercial arrangements such as research & development agreements, licence agreements, agency and distribution agreements, franchise agreements and other agreements related to intellectual property rights. Furthermore, Jens has considerable experience in litigation, including domestic and international arbitration, and in the field of insolvency where he has been acting for creditors and as the administrator of bankruptcy estates, as supervisor for enterprises having suspended payments and has assisted in arranging compositions with creditors and restructuring of insolvent businesses.
