Jan Hockx is a civil law notary and partner at Lexence in the Netherlands who advises on commercial property development, the redevelopment of town centres and shopping centres, complex divisions of rights in apartment blocks, ownership issues relating to integrated constructions (above- and underground), investment transactions, and the VAT and transfer-tax aspects of existing and new buildings. He has been with Lexence since 1999 and wrote the book ‘Koop en levering van vastgoed’ (Sale and Conveyance of Real Estate); he is also a member of the editorial board of the journal Vastgoed Fiscaal & Civiel.
