Ester Damen is a partner in the Labour & Employment Law department at Kennedy Van der Laan in the Netherlands. Her practice covers all aspects of employment law with a special focus on privacy and data protection (including GDPR implementation), workplace investigations such as #MeToo matters, advising employers and works councils under the Dutch Works Councils Act, and litigating employee participation cases before the Enterprise Section of the Court of Appeal; she is also a regular guest lecturer at the master's in Employment Law at Groningen University and a contributor to sector journals.
