Attorney, partner, admitted to the Supreme Court. Highly experienced, international corporate lawyer and arbitrator, both as chairman of arbitral tribunals and as arbitrator appointed by a party. Appointed by the Minister for Economic and Business affairs as member of a group of financial experts, where Steen Lassen investigated whether the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority complied with applicable legislation during the period 1999-2005. In that connection Steen Lassen inspected the ten largest financial institutions in Denmark. Appointed by the Minister for Culture as member of the committee that prepared legislation on the preservation of evidence in connection with the infringement of intellectual property rights (1999-2000). Legal advisor to the Danish prime minister before the tax allowance investigation commission, legal advisor to the speaker of the Danish Parliament in relation to the Farum investigation commission, and legal advisor to the Permanent Secretary of State in relation to the Stateless Commission investigation.
