
Håkon Bleken
Partner Håkon Bleken has extensive experience representing clients in litigation and arbitration in all levels of the courts and tribunals and experience as a judge at the district court and appellate court levels. He has recently prosecuted cases in the areas of contract/energy, IPR/trademark and contract/ European Convention on Human Rights before the Supreme Court. Fluent in English and Norwegian, Partner Bleken represents both Norwegian and international clients and is experienced in cross-border litigation and procedural challenges related to cross-border processes. He is particularly renowned for his expert handling of contentious patent cases, especially within the pharmaceutical field. Among recent highlights, he successfully litigated precedent-setting matters before the Supreme Court, including the landmark Donepezil case which is a keystone decision is a in the Norwegian law on the doctrine of equivalence, determining the scope of patent protection.
