Works with CMS Kluge's IP, technology and EEA department, where he works in particular with Intellectual Property Rights and contract law. Provides assistance related to patent, trademark, design and copyright disputes and matters under the Marketing Act and the Act relating to Trade Secrets. The work within patent rights concerns in particular negotiations and dispute resolution in cases of patent infringement and validity of patents. Furthermore, he assists in trademark disputes and has represented several clients in cases before the Norwegian Industrial Property Office and the Board of Appeal for Industrial Property Rights. Høines also assists in cases concerning copyright infringement, product licensing and competition clauses, and regularly represents clients in the courts. Also assists clients with drafting and negotiations of contracts related to technology development, NDA’s and R&D projects, including cooperation and partner agreements related to development and commercialization of technology. He also has broad experience with various contracts related to development and licensing of technology and software.
