Alexander Metallinos is a Partner at POTAMITISVEKRIS with more than 25 years' experience in banking and finance, M&A, corporate law and arbitration, and has led major Greek transactions including the first major leveraged acquisition in Greece, the first hive-down of a systemic bank's banking business, NPL transactions with a combined gross book value in excess of €15 billion, and the first issuance of covered bonds. He is also a recognized legal scholar and visiting lecturer at the University of Athens Law School and has contributed to committees reforming Greek corporate and insolvency law.
