Partner. Michaela Jurková is a partner in Čechová & Partners with more than 15 years of professional experience in corporate and contract law. In addition to the aforementioned legal areas, she is primarily involved in project financing and financial regulation at the present time. Michaela is the head of IP practice of the firm, responsible for providing legal services in the area of intellectual property rights, focusing on trademarks, Internet domain names and copyright (including software rights). In the areas of corporate and contract law, she advised clients on transfers of assets and businesses, acquisition and sale of shares and ownership interests in companies, and mergers of companies, including cross-border mergers. A significant part of her legal practice consists of advising clients on financial transactions both on the part of creditors and debtors, assessing, in particular, Slovak law aspects of facility agreements and related collateral to be provided by Slovak entities, including subsequent implementation of documentation.
