Francisco Barona is a Partner in the Finance and Governance department at SÉRVULO & Associados (since 2019) with extensive experience in banking and financial regulation. He previously worked in the Legal Services Department of the Bank of Portugal (1999–2005), served on the European Central Bank’s FLEX working group, was a partner at Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados, served in the Prime Minister’s Bureau in the XVI Constitutional Government, and has lectured at the Faculty of Law of the Lisbon Portuguese Catholic University since 1998.
