Filippo Arena is the Head of the Economic Public Law department and focuses on European law, Administrative Law, Antitrust and Regulation, Consumer Protection, coordinating the firm’s practice areas. He was State Attorney and Secretary General of Italian Competition Authority (AGCM), where he first held the position of Legal Advisor and, subsequently, that of Head of Cabinet. During his professional activity, he has regularly represented the Italian State before the Court of Justice of the European Union in requests for preliminary rulings and infringement procedures. He has held various positions within the State Attorney General and the Ministry of Economic Development where he was also Head of the Legislative Office.
