Mykola Stetsenko

Mykola Stetsenko is the Managing Partner, Head of Corporate/M&A Practice, and Co-Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure at AVELLUM. For nearly 30 years of his legal career Mykola focused on complex multijurisdictional transactions, some of which have set new market precedents and are repeatedly recognised by legal directories, including Chambers, IFLR, and The Legal 500. Mykola has extensive experience in all types of corporate and M&A transactions, including acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, IPOs, securities, corporate restructurings, and corporate governance. Mykola also advises major international corporations on their market entry and employment matters in Ukraine. As Co-Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure Mykola focuses on land acquisitions, construction, natural resources, minerals exploration, production sharing agreements, and public-private partnerships. Mykola is one of the lead authors of modern corporate law in Ukraine, having drafted provisions on shareholder agreements, securities regulation, corporations and LLCs, corporate governance, as well as squeeze-out and sell-out mechanisms. Mykola currently serves as President of the Ukrainian Bar Association, the largest independent association of lawyers in Ukraine, where he is actively involved in legal policy development and advancement of the legal profession.
