Péter Köves is the founding partner and Honorary Senior Partner at Lakatos, Köves & Partners, a distinguished trial lawyer and arbitrator with over three decades of experience in litigation, banking and complex financial transactions. He previously served as an equity partner at Clifford Chance for more than 15 years, has played a leading role in pioneering public‑private partnership infrastructure projects (including the M5 and M6 motorways), and has held prominent leadership roles in the Budapest Bar Association, the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (as its president) and the International Bar Association; he is also an accomplished author and recipient of awards including the Eötvös Károly Prize and the Great Cross of Austria.
