Stephan specialises in rental law, real estate law and private international law. He prevents disputes by setting agreements down on paper well in advance, draws up contracts and produces pragmatic, creative solutions to legal problems. In his practice, Stephan mainly acts for companies. His expertise also extends to the leasing and renting of business premises, with a focus on retail and hospitality. Stephan’s practice concentrates not only on the Netherlands, but also on international disputes with a focus on those between parties in the Netherlands and Germany. Stephan has been admitted as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany. In addition, he is a member of the German-Dutch Lawyers Association. Stephan joined the firm in 2016, having studied International and European Law at Radboud University in Nijmegen.
