Daan Pollaert
Being able to genuinely do something for someone else: that’s what makes the legal profession very fulfilling for Daan. He likes to delve into the operational activities of a company and is curious about what matters to clients and entrepreneurs. This commitment creates a solid partnership: a robust foundation to effectively achieve clients’ goals. As a lawyer, Daan comes into contact with clients and companies with a variety of corporate law issues. Sometimes he gives succinct advice, other times he supervises a major acquisition. The interplay between the various issues and the interaction between various interests makes the profession challenging, as do the constant developments and changes to which the law is subject. Daan took the master’s degree in Dutch Law and the master’s degree in Labour Law (cum laude) at Maastricht University. He also attended the European Corporate Finance Law Excellence Course, an honours programme.
