Partner at Portolano Cavallo in Italy with thirty years’ experience advising on M&A, private equity and joint ventures, primarily for foreign (mostly US) strategic buyers in the digital, media and technology sectors and on complex cross-border structures, regulatory approvals and foreign control issues. He is adjunct faculty for “M&A in the Digital Media” at Bocconi Law School, was ranked among the “top 10 legal innovators in Europe” by the Financial Times Law 50 (2012), and has served on the Ministry of Communications technical staff and as Co-Chair of the ABA Business Law Section’s International Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee.
