
Trine Overby Laursen
Trine Overby Laursen specialises in construction law and technical consulting and, owing to her 20 years of experience in these areas, she has gained solid knowledge of the general issues prevalent in the industry. She advises on matters in virtually all phases of construction and in particular on the legal challenges that arise during the actual construction phase, including handling of additional requirements, faults and defects as well as claims regarding delay and disruption, etc. In this connection, she is used to acting as a sounding board to project management from the early stages of a dispute in order to identify key issues and focus efforts on the most important aspects for the purpose of resolving the dispute efficiently and cost-effectively. In addition, Trine Overby Laursen has extensive experience in handling disputes between parties to the construction project, including handling expert appraisal, warranties, status meetings and handling large and complex arbitration proceedings. Trine Overby Laursen primarily advises construction companies as well as private and public developers, and over the years she has assisted clients on a number of large and complex construction projects.
