Christiaan A. Alberdingk Thijm is a partner at bureau Brandeis in the Netherlands who has been creating landmark case law since 1998, often on the interaction between new technologies and the law. He is recognised for his expertise in free speech, privacy, reputation management and (digital) copyright, has litigated platform-liability cases (including against major platforms such as Facebook and Google), serves as a senior lecturer at the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam, and has been ranked by Chambers for more than 15 years.
