
Bart De Moor
Bart De Moor is a partner in our dispute resolution practice and in the restructuring & insolvency practice. He assists and advises clients on litigation and alternative dispute resolution, company law, commercial law, private international law, and secured debt, whether they are complex international issues or local matters. A lot of his work revolve around corporate disputes such as shareholders and directors’ disputes, directors’ liability, and insolvency-related disputes. He also advises clients on reorganisation and insolvency and is regularly appointed by the court as an insolvency practitioner. He was an insolvency practitioner appointed by the court in the reorganisation proceedings of the Belgian airline Sabena, the companies Photo Hall Multimedia and Flamant Group, and in the bankruptcy proceedings of Photo Hall Multimedia and Free Record Shop. Bart is an accredited mediator in civil and commercial matters, accredited with the Federale Bemiddelingscommissie since 2007. He is an insolvency practitioner, who is admitted to plead before the Brussels Court of Enterprises (Ondernemingsrechtbank/Tribunal de l’entreprise). Bart is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) and author of numerous books and articles published extensively in legal journals. He is a member of the editorial board of the the legal journal DAOR (Droit des Affaires-OndernemingsRecht), member of Insol Europe and Insol World, and member and co-chair of the Reorganisation and Workouts Subcommittee of the Insolvency Section of the International Bar Association (IBA). · Strelia
